OWNER & PROJECT MANAGER

Taylor Maldonado
Designer

My name is Taylor Maldonado and I am a kitchen and bath designer at CKB. I interned with the company in 2018 during my senior year at Seattle Pacific University (which I graduated from with my B.A. in Interior Design) and was soon after brought on as a designer. I enjoy working with new and returning clients to create designs that are tailored to their daily habits and lifestyle while also using color and materials that they feel happy and relaxed in! My favorite part of the design process is finding materials that I think the client will love and seeing their eyes light up when they see it. It’s the best feeling ever and a good sign that they’re going to love the space every day for years to come! In my free time, I love to travel with my husband, read, knit and bake. In the summer, you’ll find me taking advantage of the sun by either paddle-boarding, hiking, or swimming with friends and in the winter, cozied up with a good book or TV show!

Dilya Marandi
Designer

My name is Dilya Marandi, and I am a kitchen and bath designer. I aim to bring a thoughtful balance of functionality and refined aesthetics to every project, guided by a genuine passion for design.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Bellevue College, where I developed a strong foundation in design principles, space planning, and material selection.

I am a dedicated listener who values collaboration, working closely with clients to understand their needs while offering professional guidance and well-considered design solutions. My goal is to enhance everyday living through spaces that are efficient, elegant, and tailored to each client’s lifestyle.

Outside of my work, I enjoy traveling with my family, exploring different cultures and traditions, and discovering new cuisines—all of which continue to inspire my creativity and perspective as a designer.

After purchasing an older single-family residence for our new showroom, we started planning for some BIG changes. Our offices are currently under construction and we welcome you to come see the progress. The plans feature two kitchens- one of which will be fully functional, two bathrooms, and additional vignettes throughout our “home”. We have a variety of materials onhand such as cabinetry, countertops, and tile samples showcasing a range of different styles; you’ll be sure to find one that suits your taste and find inspiration.
